Recently, a long unknown Alexandre Dumas novel called "Georges" was published. As it is set in Haiti at the time of the rebellion against the French, it may have also been influenced by his father's backdrop.

Wow! They certainly did not teach us this in the history lessons at school! I've always loved the books by Alexandre Dumas but did not know about his father.

Nor did I. It is an amazing book. They don't give out Pulitzer Prizes based won who you know. In my next review, you will learn things about Montesquieu, Kant, Voltaire and others that you never knew and will make you recoil.
