Du Bois still has much to teach us all. I find his writings fascinating snapshots of Black people then- and now.

I don’t dare visit the Hermitage these day, at least not while we are still in weeding mode here regarding our book collection. Have found a number of treasures over the years. I consider it Denver’s best used and rare bookstore, curated for quality.

Thanks for the introduction to another great book!

I totally get it. From now on, we’ll have them card you at the door. 😂😳

Fortunately, parking, as you know, is problematic in the bookstore’s neighborhood, but once we are caught up with our weeding - look out!

Pat - we have three parking spaces in the underground parking lot and two on the elevated ramp to the south of the building. Don’t let parking keep you away :-)

I found it extra nice that you live in Denver and writes about bookstore. Back in april 2012 I went to the US for the first time in my life with my bestie Maria.

We attended an event called Rock Your Prosperity ( insert cringed face) at a big hotel quite near some old train station, The Tattered someting Bookstore and a shop where we bought cowboy belts ( I still have mine). Denver is huge so I do not expect you to know what part I write about. But couldnot refrain myself from commenting 😊

And the most important thing, I am very grateful to learn more about Black history and Black authors. So thank you!

Thank you. I’ve been driving into CC for decades. And the parking demons know when I am coming. They know. And laugh at me. But do love the store.
